International schools Niederwürschnitz clean up prizes
The week of 17.04.2023 was dominated by the language competitions at the International Schools Niederwürschnitz. On the one hand, the internal Olympiads of all SIS schools (Saxony International Schools) took place in Meerane, on the other hand, the Saxon English Olympiad of the ninth grade high school students in Chemnitz.
Creative competition
Our education partner, community4you AG, had called on our students to participate in a creative competition last year.
What does the future of the car look like? Will we all drive on electricity? Will soon only clean water come dripping out of the exhaust? Will cars fly or run on wheels? Will they be really big or really small? And will we still need a steering wheel?
Easter theater
On April 5, 2023 the class 6g of the International Gymnasium Niederwürschnitz presented their interpretation of the popular fairy tale "The wise farmer's daughter". Under the direction of music teacher Mrs. Laura Hahn and technology enthusiast teacher Tobias Junghänel, the students transformed the auditorium into a colorful fairy tale world. They enchanted the audience with an impressive performance.
GTA Excursion
As part of the GTA Business Start-Up, two students visited the "Freie Presse" group of companies in Brückenstraße in Chemnitz together with GTA head Mr. Leue.
Excursion German Armed Forces
SCHAU REIN! - Week of Open Companies is and remains Saxony's largest career orientation initiative. In no other week of the year are so many students on their feet at the same time to get to know companies from the inside and in detail.
Open Day 2023
On Saturday, February 4, the International Schools were finally able to open their doors again to all interested parties and present the diverse offer.
Bee News
In preparation for the winter season, not only our bee colony was busy, but also the participants of our beekeeping GTA.
Buddy Day
On January 3, 2023, the first day of school after the Christmas vacations got off to a particularly exciting start for the two fourth grades of the International Primary School Stollberg: Together with their class teachers, they walked from Stollberg to Niederwürschnitz to experience the first cooperative Buddy Day between IPS Stollberg and the International Schools Niederwürschnitz.

We were saddened to hear of the death of Prof. Dr. Carl H. Hahn. With Carl Hahn, Saxony International School - Carl Hahn gGmbH not only loses a close friend and companion, but also its dedicated namesake and brilliant educational visionary.
