Important information

Dear Parents!

Perhaps you are wondering what criteria we use to allocate places at our schools? On the one hand, we take into account the date of school registration and, of course, the academic performance of your child. If you have another child at one of our institutions, your application will also be given priority. A place at the school of your choice is guaranteed once you have signed a fixed contract with the school in question. Please call the respective school directly to inquire about the monthly school fee.

Information on the orientation level grade 5/6

After completing primary school, pupils remain in their usual class group as far as possible and attend the grammar school orientation level (years 5 and 6) together. According to Sächs. Schulgesetz §4 (3), grades 5 and 6 are the orientation level, only from "grade 7 onwards does a differentiation based on [...] qualifications begin". The schools will therefore run the orientation level together from SJ 24/25 - parents and pupils will therefore have more time and certainty when deciding on the appropriate type of school with the change to grade 7.

Information about the school registration process

School registrations can be accepted at the secretary's office at the following times:

Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
In exceptional cases, additional appointments are possible.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR 2025/26:

At our schools we are open for you as follows:

on 17. and 18.02.2025 from 08:00 to 13:00 o'clock

on 24. and 25.02.2025 from 08:00 to 13:00 and

on 05. and 06.03.2025 from 08:00 to 13:00 o'clock

At the time of registration must be handed in:

the original of the educational recommendation
Application form filled out, Free State of Saxony Form Service:

the copy of the child's birth certificate
Proof of sole custody (for single parents)
If applicable, form Information about special educational needs in case of change of school (filled in by the sending elementary school)
Original vaccination card (for proof of measles vaccination)
