Streetfood Festival
The International Gymnasium and the International Oberschule Niederwürschnitz participated in the 575th anniversary of the municipality of Niederwürschnitz on September 21, 2022 with a self-organized Street Food Market with specialties and delicacies from all over the world.
In bright sunshine, appetizing smells and live music attracted numerous visitors to the grounds and premises of the International Secondary School and the International Gymnasium. The dishes offered here were as multicultural as the students and teaching staff who sold these delicacies: Russian pelmeni and sweets, Asian specialties, Swedish cinnamon buns, exotic salads, spicy soups, fancy pastries and cakes, among others, were offered. The guests also enjoyed live performances by the choir and dance group, which were rewarded with abundant applause.
The StreetFood Market was a meeting of cultures, which offered students, teachers, parents, alumni and future students, who currently attend the International Primary School Stollberg, among others, the opportunity to exchange ideas and spend a good time together and taste specialties from all over the world, without having to travel far.
