On February 13, 2025, the first SIS soccer tournament took place in Niederwürschnitz, where teams from Meerane, Elsterberg, Neukirchen and Niederwürschnitz met. It was a consistently fair but hard-fought tournament in which all teams played with full commitment.

On this year's Genial Sozial Tag, the pupils of our school once again demonstrated their great commitment. Thanks to their active participation, a considerable sum of €5,823.00 was raised for social projects and charitable causes.

The festively decorated school auditorium was filled to capacity when this year's Christmas concert began. Pupils, teachers and parents came together to celebrate the pre-Christmas period with a special school highlight that was not only musically inspiring.

On 02.12.2024, class 7g got to grips with the sewing machine. Under the guidance of Linni Grund, the owner of the "Tapfere Schneiderei" in Lichtenstein, the pupils tried out cutting and sewing fabrics together.

The all-day bee program focused on the topic of "bee products". Together, the children first gathered information about the products produced by bees, including honey, wax, royal jelly and bee venom.
