No Tigers shine at the HOT Dance Cup

Hohenstein - On June 8, 2024, the HOT Dance Cup took place in Hohenstein, and the Dance Kids competed with their group "No Tigers". The group consisted of dancers Cody, Meggie, Anisha, Zoe and Luisa. Supported by their parents, who had sponsored T-shirts especially for the event, the young dancers took on the competition from various dance schools and clubs.

Volleyball showdown

A rousing volleyball match between pupils and teachers caused quite a stir in the gym on April 10. Pupils from Year 10 competed against a team of teachers during GTA time.

Year 5 learns swimming skills

Swimming is not only a sporting activity, but also a life-saving skill. That's why our sports teacher Mr. Ferreira has made an effort to set up swimming training for Year 5.

Buddy Day for IPS students

Once again this school year, a Buddy Day was held for the primary school pupils at IPS. This day offers a program aimed at easing the transition from elementary school to secondary school and providing insights into possible educational paths.

Dresden - here we come!

For the second time, we were able to send a representative from our secondary school to the state finals of the Saxon Geography Olympiad in Dresden. Peter Härtel (10a) qualified with a very good 2nd place and only two points difference to the first place at the preliminary round in Chemnitz.
