Successful "Social Days
Inspired by Clean-Up Day, a worldwide day of action to clean up the environment, students from Class 10g of our Gymnasium and Class 9b of our Oberschule took a commendable initiative during the last days of school before the summer vacations to rid the Würschnitz River here in Niederwürschnitz of litter and pollution.
Ceremonial report card 2023
On Saturday, July 01, 2023, the graduation ceremony of the class of 2023 took place in our auditorium. It was a wonderful celebration full of pride and joy, which was introduced with the speeches of our principal Mrs. Geuthel and the management of SIS Mrs. Dr. Simchen-Schubert.
The auditorium was festively decorated and radiated a solemn atmosphere.

Monday, last week of school - the school building is decorated differently in eight rooms, classes 5 and 6 are having a project day about kids in Africa.

Benefit concert 2023
In the late afternoon of 14.06.2023 a lot of children met in the Bürgergarten Stollberg to create a joint benefit concert. The colorful event started with the smallest ones, the Steppkes from the kindergarten "Clever Kids", who performed a beautiful dance. Afterwards, the Musikusse of the International Primary School Stollberg as well as the International Schools Niederwürschnitz offered a varied program of theater, singing, instrumental contributions and dances.
No Tigers shine at HOT Dance Cup Competition
The group "No Tigers" ,consisting of Cody, Anisha, Luisa, Meggy and Zoe from the 5a of the International High School in Niederwürschnitz, participated full of enthusiasm in the HOT-Dance-Cup in Hohenstein Ernstthal and inspired the audience on the dance floor.
"What's cool is the self-organized learning"
"This is cool. Finally setting the pace on my own and deciding for myself what I start with," were the opinions of the students in Class 7a of the ION after they had tried out self-organized learning (SOL) for the second time.
On the way to the dream job
A special kind of career orientation awaited the students of grades 7-9 in the last week of April. They had the opportunity to use virtual reality glasses for career tours. This digital pool opens up new perspectives on career orientation for the students.

How do I log in? Where is the password? Can you please help us? Similar sentences were heard when Mr. Dolezal from the International Schools Niederwürschnitz helped to support the computer science lessons at the IPS in Stollberg in classes 3a and 3b.
International schools Niederwürschnitz clean up prizes
The week of 17.04.2023 was dominated by the language competitions at the International Schools Niederwürschnitz. On the one hand, the internal Olympiads of all SIS schools (Saxony International Schools) took place in Meerane, on the other hand, the Saxon English Olympiad of the ninth grade high school students in Chemnitz.
Creative competition
Our education partner, community4you AG, had called on our students to participate in a creative competition last year.
What does the future of the car look like? Will we all drive on electricity? Will soon only clean water come dripping out of the exhaust? Will cars fly or run on wheels? Will they be really big or really small? And will we still need a steering wheel?
