Volleyball Showdown
Ein mitreißendes Volleyballmatch zwischen Schülern und Lehrern sorgte am 10.April in der Turnhalle für Aufsehen. Schülerinnen und Schüler der 10. Klassen traten während der GTA-Zeit gegen ein Lehrerteam an.
Klasse 5 erlangt Schwimmkompetenz
Das Schwimmen ist nicht nur eine sportliche Aktivität, sondern auch eine lebensrettende Fähigkeit. Daher hat sich unser Sportlehrer Herr Ferreira bemüht, ein Schwimmtraining für die Klassen 5 ins Leben zu rufen.
Buddy Day für IPS-Schüler
Auch in diesem Schuljahr hat wieder ein Buddy Day für die Grundschüler der IPS stattgefunden. Dieser Tag bietet ein Programm, das darauf abzielt, den Übergang von der Grundschule zur weiterführenden Schule zu erleichtern und Einblicke in die möglichen Bildungswege zu geben.
Erfolgreiche Teilnahme an den Spracholympiaden der SIS
Am 18. und 20.03.2024 sind ausgewählte Schülerinnen und Schüler wieder gemeinsam mit den Fachlehrern zu den SIS-Spracholympiaden (in Spanisch und Englisch) ans Internationale Gymnasium nach Meerane gefahren.
Dresden - here we come!
For the second time, we were able to send a representative from our secondary school to the state finals of the Saxon Geography Olympiad in Dresden. Peter Härtel (10a) qualified with a very good 2nd place and only two points difference to the first place at the preliminary round in Chemnitz.

English Camp 2023
While at the English camp, the children accomplished and enjoyed so many activities! We began with an English lesson and learned a few songs together!
Dance group & school band thrill at dm-Markt reopening
A small highlight on September 21, 2023 for the reopening of the dm store in Lugau was undoubtedly the impressive performance of our two dedicated dance group as well as our school band.
Cool holidays right in the 2nd week of school
On Aug. 28 and 29, 2023, things got busy at the International Schools Niederwürschnitz as we celebrated the 125th anniversary of our school building as well as the 25th anniversary of the new addition.
